PhD student Marina Hakim receives a Best Student Poster Award

Marina Hakim, PhD student who is supervised by Prof. HUANG Diying from the State Key Laboratory of Palaeobiology and Stratigraphy, received the Best Student Poster Award at the 8th International Conference on Fossil Insects, Arthropods & Amber (Fossils X3) held in Santo Domingo, capital city of the Dominican Republic, on 7th to 13th April, 2019. She was gifted with a certificate and a trophy by the International Palaeontological Society for her poster entitled “Psocopterans of Dominican Amber”, which covered her work on two species of fossil insects preserved in the Lower to Middle Miocene Dominican amber (circa 16 Mya).
