Chen Yongquan

Chen Yongquan, male, born in April 1978. He formerly served as a senior expert and professor-level senior engineer at PetroChina Tarim Oilfield Company. He earned his bachelor's degree in 2001 and his Ph.D. in 2006, both from Nanjing University.

For many years, he has been engaged in fundamental research and oil-gas exploration related to the Neoproterozoic-Lower Paleozoic dolomites in the Tarim Basin. He has led projects, sub-projects, and specialized studies under national science and technology programs, key R&D initiatives, and PetroChina's corporate scientific research projects.

His achievements include five provincial/ministerial-level awards, eight company-level awards, three authorized invention patents, the publication of one monograph, and over 100 academic papers.
